It's not cliche to say that the youth are our future - in sustainability future thinking is what its all about! The Climate Cocktail Club is proud to have partnered with the National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG) and The Galway Energy Summit 2019 for the launch of the platform in the West of Ireland. What a night it was...
The Galway Energy Summit 2019 was hosted by NUIG. The Galway Energy Summit (GES) was founded in 2018 and is Ireland’s only student and youth inspired energy summit. This event provides a unique opportunity by connecting academia, community, industry and government. GES creates a space for all to discuss and debate sustainability, technology, climate change and innovation.
Ray (co-founder of CCC) was there to speak to the packed room about Climate Cocktail Club and why/what/how we do it. Ray invited Niall O' Hara from ChangeX onto the stage to talk about scaling social innovation globally. Ray also invited everyone to Busker Browns for cocktails and more networking late into the night helped on by some free drinks from Jameson. We have plans to open a chapter in Galway in 2019 so all your Galwegians out there - watch this space.
