Ballintubbert comes from the Irish Baile an Tobair: the place of the well. On 15–16 September, five hundred business, policy, science, farming, finance, activist and creative leaders came to drink from it. Not a conference. Definitely not a hotel function suite. A Climate Carnival, under canvas in the organic gardens of a County Laois country house, built around one idea: From Silos to Systems.

This was not a talking shop. This was not a drinks reception dressed in sustainability language. This was the moment the old guard needed to be in the same room as the revolutionaries - not to be convinced. To be confronted. With the ideas, the models, the leaders and the art that are already building what comes next.

So f*cking what... you create some positive impact, but cannot pay the bills. We need to hijack the tools of capitalism to create resilient impact for all... these badass leaders are doing it.
