The fashion industry is one of the largest contributors to climate change and nature loss, responsible for vast carbon emissions, water pollution and waste. From clothing to cosmetics, accessories to aftershave, its all fuelling a consumption overload at planetary scale. Fast fashion’s take-make-waste model fuels deforestation, microplastic pollution and exploitative supply chains. To drive change, we need a global shift towards circular design, slow fashion and regenerative materials. Pioneers are championing sustainable materials, ethical production and closed-loop systems - who are they? The future of fashion must prioritise climate, nature and communities, alongside radical transparency and innovation that support consumers in making positive purchase and lifestyle decisions.
Join us for an evening of inspirational speakers, art, culture, science, cocktails and more. Hosted with the boundless energy and enthusiasm for all things sustainable, Fionnuala Moran, will take us on that journey crafting bold discussions and audience engagement. The creative and campaigning genius that is Troy Armour provides a deep dive into youth leadership, circularity, communication and business, with some of the winning designs being showcased. Rosy Temple explores a life sustaining a 150 year old fashion brand in Ireland and what it really means to have sustainability at its heart, through design, materials, range and ethos. Our expert panel will take the audience on a kaleidoscopic tour of big brand, bold commitments, plucky Irish outdoor start-up, science-led sustainable cosmetics and fashion influencing. Join us now - grab your front row ticket to the climate catwalk.
